Sewing the Mouse
Posted by Kate on Thursday, November 09, 2006When I first started sewing one of the very first things I tried to make was a very small stuffed mouse. Since then I have made lots of pointy kitties for friends and family, I finished a tiny quilt and I sewed the front of a twin size quilt. I made a large carrying case for my sewing cutting mat, a pocket book, and an apron. Having learned a few things I decided to go back to the mouse.
This mouse is just hard. It is hard to sew tiny little curves. And to have those tiny little curves match from the mouse's left side to her right. I really need to find a pattern for a normal sized stuffed animal.
I'll add a photo once I have finished her. I am still need to attach her head and give her face some features...
