Fire
Posted by Kate on Friday, October 06, 2006There is a chemical fire burning at a hazardous waste management facility in the town next to us. They have evacuated half of that town. The wind is not strong, but it is going in the opposite direction away from us anyway. I am watching the news, so if it does end up heading this way, Pat and I will pack up the cats and leave.
Update!
All appears to be well where we are, CNN is saying that the preliminary air quality readings aren't terrible, and none of us are choking or gagging. :)
