On the Verge
Posted by Kate on Tuesday, October 03, 2006We are on the verge of making an offer on the two-story house with the teal dining room. My insides are jumping all around and I should be going to the market, doing laundry, and vacuuming, but I just want to sit by the computer and see what the bank and the real estate agent write back to us.
We have done most of this whole homebuying process over the computer. Pretty crazy. I have only spoken on the phone with the real estate agent twice, other than that it has been email. I have done all my research over the internet, including finding banks, houses, all the tax information, environment information, and more. Of course we have actually gone out and looked at houses and stalked neighborhoods to see what they are like, but almost everything else we have done over the internet. I don't know what I would do without it.
