Postponed Postings

Without Kate's frequent postings, this site would be vastly under-updated. I've been kind of a slacker with the internetting.

Yesterday I took my car to get its 90k mile service. Oh, where have the miles gone? Most of them have gone to route 146. I thought this dealer experience was going to be an almost-ok one. They didn't try to push any rust-proofing on me, or tell me that my blinkers were low on fluid. While the service was the usual Dealership-Expen$ive, it wasn't mind-blowingly expensive. I left there confident that maybe they did at least some of the things they said.

Any excuse to put a photo of my ride on the site

Of course, something had to not go well. When I got home, Kate told me that the dealer had called to let me know that the car's wheel-lock was still at the dealership, and that I'd have to drive back and get it. The wheel lock is some kind of security measure to prevent newbie car-thieves from stealing my stock rims. It's mostly an inconvienece, and if I had gotten a flat tire before I picked up the lock, I'd have been s-o-l.

Oh well, they could have forgotten to put my oil cap back on. I picked the lock up and carried on with life.
