Burlington

Posted by Patrick on Sunday, November 28, 2004

After Thanksgiving dinner at my parents, we packed up and headed north to Burlington, Vermont. We passed through here recently on a camping trip (with Pete, Scott, Sean and Cwellen) and decided to explore the city a bit more.

Parade!

It snowed a little on the ride up, but nothing to trecharous. The hotel we stayed at had fresh cookies and milk available every night. Downtown Burlington is nice. Lots to see, not a lot of weird Worcester-like hobos hassling you. We saw a parade, with Reindeer. We toured a place that makes blown glass, and then saw the Magic Hat Brewery.

The drive home was cool. Mountains! Highway! Farmland! The drivers in Vermont are much much nicer than they are around here.
