Lost
Posted by Patrick on Saturday, October 09, 2004We've have recently begun taping most television shows we want to watch, as we're infrequently both home on the same night. Our downstairs neighbors also tape for us; it's kind of like having TiVo but without the monthly fees.
One show we have been watching is called Lost. It's pretty good, with a semi-original plot (built around several not-so-original ones). These people are on a plane, and it crashes on an island, and the people are forced to survive on whatever they find there, and deal with their reality TV-like mental issues. They're further hampered by the fact that no one really knows where to look for them.
The first three episodes have been good, almost movie quality (certainly up there with made-for-TV-movie quality). I worry that it will turn into something cheesy, as there is some kind of monster on the island which wants to eat people.
I'm hoping it will be really good, but I should probably not think about it for a while since I'll be flying on a plane this week.
