Just Maybe

So Pat and I are starting some new classes next week. He is taking auto repair and I am taking woodworking.
I hope that it turns out I am a master wood worker and I just didn’t know it because I hadn’t tried it before. And so, once I realize my skills I will take Advanced Woodworking and perhaps build everything from jewelry boxes to cabinets and open a store in a big barn, where we grow and sell Christmas trees, pumpkins, and wildflowers, and the furniture that I made and the stained glass that I made…and maybe some coffee or hot cider and hot chocolate…
And so this barn will have a big studio where I can work on my projects and maybe we will get a barn dog to hang out there with me, or maybe I will take Zoe to work with me. But she’s not too big on meeting strangers outside the house. When we are in the yard she freaks out when she sees people. So maybe I will get a stray cat for the barn that gets along with dogs and then I could have both…. And the cat could catch any barn mice…
Or perhaps at least the woodworking will become just another expensive hobby. Who knows, but I guess it is time to find out.
