I'm Sick
Posted by Kate on Wednesday, November 15, 2006I'm sick and at the worst possible time. I've got an itchy sore throat and a cough and not much left for a voice. Makes it a little hard to tell people to set up our utilities. I don't understand why anyone has to do this sort of thing in person and have to pay a $200 deposit to get them to turn on water and electricity. And show them a copy of our purchase and sale agreement.
Why can we not set it up over the phone or internet or even mail? And do they really need proof we are buying the house? Does anyone ever try to pay someone else's utilities for them and those people get mad?
Well you can just imagine me rambling and coughing and generally looking sick. There's a visual image for ya.
