All(most) Better

Posted by Patrick on Thursday, December 01, 2005

Thanksgiving weekend was blech at best. Despite hitting the Nyquil all weekend, it was still snot-city, with fun flu-like shivering. Even now, over a week since I started feeling sick, I'm still hacking some interesting stuff. Sorry to disclose such graphic detail on the site like that, but I feel the need to share.

After work today I got myself a haircut, which was long overdue. I was heading into a hair phase I like to call "the Shaggy," and had to do something about it.

Ever since I got glasses a few years back (correcting my vision, but slowly making things blurry without the specs), getting my hair trimmed has been kind of an adventure. I have to take my glasses off during the cutting, so I can't see what the hair cutter person is doing in the mirror... just a blurry fuzzy representation of myself. So when they say "Is this short enough?," I never really know.

Today's cut turned out fine. Shaggyness is vanquished for another month or so.
