Site Seeing

I've got an unhealthy addiction to information, and the internet is my dealer. This dealer doesn't just wait on the corner (although there are most likely dealers of another sort on the corner near where we live), this dealer lays out icons out on my desktop and beckons me to waste time.
For a long time, Boston.com was good enough for me. It's the Boston Globe's website. Updated all throughout the day, it seems like a quality news source, and less trashy than the Boston Herald's website.
Then I moved to Slashdot.org for a fix of tech news. For a time it was good, but the site turned into more of a press-releases forum for tech companies, with stories repeated multiple times, not based on any sort of facts. Their "Ask Slashdot" section is still pretty useful.
These are some websites that I check out now, daily, to fulfill my need for useful information:
digg.com: My new favorite. Users submit interesting technology articles of all sorts, and the most interesting stories appear on the site's homepage. Just today there were stories about the new Spiderman movie, ice bergs, and super hi-res tv's. Good stuff. See also Lifehacker.com
The Huffington Post: Fairly liberal news and commentary from columnist Arianna Huffington. I first heard about the site from an NPR Podcast.
Metafilter.org: another site where people submit interesting stories. Not focused on anything specific, but current events, tech, science, and occasional political commentary seem to be popular. Also check out BoingBoing.net.
I also enjoy reading Kottke.org, Waiterrant.net, and Medpundit.
What does everyone else out there like to read?
