Posted by Kate on Saturday, October 15, 2005Tonight Pat is at the Weezer/Foo Fighters concert, so I am sure soon you will see a post about that with all the details. Rudy only had one extra ticket, so no concert for me.
I am at home- with a case of cabin fever. I can't take all this rain. I am so happy that the sun may come out tomorrow. I went to the basement to do some laundry, but there was at least an inch of water in some places, so I thought it was best not to run any major appliances down there.
Today, like last weekend, I watched a lot of Gilmore Girls episodes. I have been renting the DVDs from Blockbuster online and I am up to the middle of season 3 (out of 6 seasons.) Its kind of a guilty pleasure.
I never posted about the goldfish and new fiddler crabs that Pat and I got. We got two fish and one kicked the bucket after one night in the tank. The goldfish that lived is named Christopher and the crabs are Carmella and Tony. Carmella molted and is much bigger now- she could totally take Tony, but luckily they don't fight. The goldfish occasionally swims right at the crabs and they wave their claws back at him, but other than that it is pretty peaceful in the tank.
Onto other topics, I am not sure when the next Hike Club hike will be. I am assuming everywhere will be too wet tomorrow, although I am dying to get outside and get some exercise. I suppose I should just except that summer is over and go back to the gym.
Well I guess I will see what Kim and Anne are up to because it would be really good to get out of the house. Hope you are all coping with the outdoor's gloom better than I am!
