Posted by Kate on Tuesday, April 19, 2005Well I haven't posted in eons, so I feel an obligatory post is in order. My sister Kim and her partner Anne are coming to visit this weekend and while they are here Kim will be going on a job interview and they will be looking at houses. Our whole family is really really excited that she is moving back here. Kim hasn't lived in RI since 1992!
I should have posted about this awhile ago, but I got an ipod. Someone at my work had gotten one for half price, because it was an open box, and then she decided she didn't want it, so I bought it off her. I love it. I keep buying new music from iTunes, like Bright Eyes, Ambulance Ltd, Aqueduct, The Ravonettes, and Tegan and Sara all which I heard on "Left of Center" on Sirius Satelite radio at work. And Le Tigre which someone at work got me into and The Kleptones which Pat got me into, plus the tons of music Pat already had on our computer, so I am pretty happy sound-wise! Hmm what else is newsworthy? The other gluer at my work was accepted into Brown University today. We are really happy for her. She is very nice and ultra-smart and lucky for us she plans to continue working with us while earning her degree.
Yoga is done for the semester, unfortunately. Hopefully Pat's Mom will hold a class over the summer.
Pat and I went to a party at Erin and Jay's house on Sunday. Lots of fun as usual. This time we got to enjoy their backyard and all the grilling, marshmallow toasting, and frisbee, that went with it. Jay's brother's kids are wicked funny. The little girl, who is 3, had us all wrapped around her pinky.
I don't think I ever posted about the fact that the last killer crab died. So Pat and I are free to go out and get new crabs (fiddlers only) or fish to put into our tank.
