I've posted some over at Mayaloge, while Jay is off on assignment. His frequent posting is impressive, and I don't want to ruin his momentum while he's gone. Hopefully he'll be back later this week, because I don't know nearly as much about Maya as he does, and I'm running out of things to write about. I am working on some Maya stuff here at home, but don't feel the need to post incomplete work.

I went to a used CD store on Tuesday, and sold a bunch of cd's I hadn't listed to in forever, or had long since converted to mp3 and had no need for the disc. I then took the money they gave me ($35 bucks for 16 cd's? What a deal?) and bought a couple cd's. I picked up the new Dropkick Murphy's disc, which really doesn't have that many new songs, but the cover of Fortunate Son makes it all the worth it. I also picked up the Libertines' new CD, which is suppose to be good according to Rolling Stone, but who really knows. I haven't had time to listen to it yet... that's the trouble with buying more than one cd/dvd/videogame at a time; you really can't give equal time to the new posessions.

Last Sunday we were out dining, and brother-in-law Bob's mother said the two funniest things I think I've heard in a while:
Tell him to get his own frickin' bunny: A reference to her sending a check to him for easter to her grandson, in lieu of shipping chocolate to Alaska.
You don't get a Hummel for nothin': I forget why she was speaking about hummels, but it was a profound an unexpected statement.
