Random Updates on the Life of Kate and Pat

Posted by Kate on Saturday, March 12, 2005

It is snowing very heavily right now. I just can't believe how much snow we have gotten this winter. Normally weekend snow wouldn't bother me too much, but Pat and I have to drive down to my Mom's to dogsit Hershey today.

Last night we went up to Natick to see Robots with Jay and Erin. The animation was really cool, but the comedy just wasn't too funny. And I felt like it was trying hard to be funny. The Incredibles was much better.

So in other "AveNews" I will be working five days a week now. I am learning to run the glue machine (which is used to put the fabrics or papers onto the cardboard chip that becomes the covers of the books.) Luckily it is totally nontoxic, I was worried that the smell might bother me, but it basically just smells like vanilla. I am learning to run the machine because the person who usually does it is leaving for six weeks to have foot surgery and she will be leaving for another six weeks during the summer too. So I will miss my Mondays off, but more money is always nice.
