Is it spring yet?

I was walking around Job Lot today, wandering through all the gardening supplies and I was so tempted to buy stuff. Anything that would mean spring was here... seeds, new garden gloves, trowels... But I held off and bought a new $5 yoga mat instead.
Yoga has started up again, which I am very happy about. Somehow I wasn't finding the motivation to do it on my own. I needed the new mat, because it was kind of embarassing to go to yoga class with a mat that the cats (well, Zoe) had shredded. It is a big class this time, there were, probably about 12 people there. They seem like a nice group of people, friendly.
I have also been going to the gym about five times a week (which is sort of miraculous for me), but the people aren't as friendly there. Some of the women at the front desk are nice, but there is this one guy, who works there, who seems to glower at me every time I am there. This time I handed him my ID, instead of just holding it up, and he took it and carefully inspected it. Maybe now that he knows that I am definitely a legit gym member he will calm down, and maybe smile? 
Well anyway, back to my spring rant... I have been getting by on potted plants and cut flowers. I bought some really pretty tulips for my hanging wall vases and a new catnip plant and a basil plant. I am not as good at indoor gardening as I am at outdoor gardening (as my Mom will attest), but I need some green around here!
