Missions Accomplished!
Posted by Kate on Monday, February 16, 2004So Pat and I had a very productive Valentine's Day. Pat actually made an agenda for us and told me that we were getting up at seven and would be out of the house by nine that morning. We didn't end up sticking strictly to our agenda, but we did get a ton of wedding stuff done. First we booked two limos from Robin's Limousine, which was a big relief to finally cross off our list. Then we drove to Target to start our gift registry. They give you a gun and let you roam the store, we picked out some appliances and some camping stuff. Then we headed to the Emerald Square Mall to look at wedding rings. We went to a few stores, but nothing really matched with my engagement ring, so we decided to head up to the Auburn Mall to go to Goldstein Swank & Gordon where Pat got the first ring. There I found a band that was a perfect match and Pat picked out a ring that he liked for himself and we left them there to be engraved. On to Bed, Bath, and Beyond, where we set up another registry. I went a little crazy and picked out a lot of stuff that we definitely don't have room for in our apartment....We may need to register for space at a storage facility, until we get a house.... And then we came home and I registered for a few more cool things from Crate and Barrel online. Okay I admit it, I caught the "wish list" bug.... I think the woman working at Bed, Bath, and Beyond gave it to me.... She was like "how many people are you inviting? You need to put three times as many things on your list. Put everything you ever even thought you might want on this list." We don't even have room for all the small appliances that we already have!! Hmm... maybe I should register for a nice cabinet to hold it all..... I am addicted to registries... I need an intervention. I have actually been considering checking out Pottery Barn's registry...
