One of my birthday gifts last week is a racing game called Need for Speed Underground, courtesy of the rents. Probably the best racing game I've played since Gran Turismo way back in the playstation days.

Not only does NFSU have silver Celicas sort of like mine, but you can add all sorts of cool parts and wheels and whatnot to it. There's circuit races, drag races and a few other modes of play. Plus, concequence-free late night street racing, which is nice. The gameplay is challenging, but not superhard so even bad video gamers like myself can enjoy the game without feeling like a n00b.

This game has been absorbing far too much of my free time. Tonight I wanted to start up some kind of self-portfolio site again, but the cars called to me. Right now I'm using a Toyota Celica, a Mazda Miata hardtop and Suburu Impressa 2.5rs.

4 and 9/10ths out of 5 stars.
