Twenty Five

Posted by Patrick on Monday, February 02, 2004

Sunday was my birthday, and it was a high quality one. First, on saturday, the rents cooked supper for Kate and I. I got some much-needed clothes, and a couple of good games for the xbox. I played a little bit of both on Sunday, good stuff.

The next day... was my real birthday. Kate took me out to Coffee and Cream for some Belgian Waffle action. Then we came back home, and while I was sneaking around an eastern European Splinter Cell level, Kate Chris and Bob were busy setting up a party for me. Chicken, potatos, corn and cresent rolls, plus a birthday cake. What made it a wicked mint birthday party was the Celica theme.

A full on track with racing Celicas on the kitchen table. Awesome. Click here for the other b'day photos.

Kate got me some Starburst Jelly Beans, which are so very tasty. She also got me the most recent Star Trek movie on dvd and Super Mario 4 on the gameboy. Chris and Bob picked me up some Skittles, which are addictive just like the Star Burst jelly beans, and they got me the Simpsons: Season 1 on DVD. I walked out with a stack of excellent gifts.

And then, to top it all off, my sister sent me a gift cert to TGI Fridays, which has some tasty food. This was probably the best birthday I've had in a long time, or ever.
