Mouse
Posted by Patrick on Wednesday, January 14, 2004Since Santa(s) brought me some Best Buy gift certificates for Christmas, I decided to start spending them. Went to the BB in Natick and picked myself up a new pointing device. The Microsoft Wireless Mouse is what I got. It's pretty darn sweet, no cord and no ball. Just lasers and radio waves for me. Hopefully my hand turn green from all the radiation this thing is spitting out.
Here it is. The scroll wheel tilts left and right, so you can scroll horizontally. Strange at first, but I think I'm gonna dig it.
Sometimes its hard for me to support the evil empire of software, but the hardware is quality and I can't fight that. In fact, I doubt a Pat-boycott of Microsoft would really accomplish much. I really wish Apple would make something like this, but they insist that one button is sufficient for using a computer. It most certainly is not. At least two buttons are necessary, and once you get hooked on that scroll wheel, there's no turning back.
