I Don't Understand

Posted by Kate on Friday, December 01, 2006

Perhaps it is time for Pat and I to rent An Inconvenient Truth. It is December and 77 degrees outside. I know that New England is having unseasonably warm weather too.

I just finished setting up my little sewing/paper crafting/filing/reading area downstairs. Pretty exciting. And overwhelming. There are a million different projects I could finish or start new ones...

And to change the subject one more time... I am totally loving home ownership. Of course it really helps that this place is practically brand new so there aren't any major things that need fixing to worry about, but it is more than that. I think I just wanted a house because it was the next logical step. But now that we are here... well I can't even describe how happy this place makes me. I am so proud of it. And we feel so settled and at home.

And our neighbors seem really nice. One neighbor's boss is actually from Rhode Island, he moved here in 1990. It would be interesting to talk to him, though I don't know if the opportunity to talk to the neighbor's boss will actually present itself...
