The heat is on.

When we rounded the corner and came down Rockland Ave, we saw a glow in the woods, sorta diagonally across the street from our building. It was a fire! And it was fairly big, and there were no campers sitting around it.
We walked a little closer, and I was right about to call the fire department when they rolled up on the scene.
It was right behind a building on the corner of the end of our street. I had mentioned this building in a previous posting, thinking it might be a meth lab.
It turns out its not a meth lab, and part of it is an apartment building. A couple who lives there came out to see the what was going on. Here's kind of what the guy said:
"Hey, that's crazy. I was just out there [by the fire] twenty minutes ago, parking my bike."
He then scurried inside. We're not saying he started the fire, but eyebrows were raised for sure.
