My day
Posted by Patrick on Friday, March 12, 2004So, like Ice Cube once said, "Today was a good day." Started out pretty early, but well worth it. I scrounged up enough change in my car to buy a muffin for breakfast. It was coffee crumb, from the caf downstairs at my work.
Then I sipped some coffee for a bit, ready for a pretty average Friday in the insurance industry. Took some phone calls, wrote some emails. Then my supervisor came in and let me build some computers which is kinda fun stuff if you're not doing it every day (and I don't). I helped build four computers for most of the day, and then my boss took me and my counterpart Ray out to eat at Bertucci's.
Then I got to leave at 4 pm. Rad! And on the way home I heard "...traffic on the mass pike is a logjam..." and I just smiled, because I don't take the mass pike home anymore and that's all good.
