what's up with us....
Posted by Kate on Saturday, April 22, 2006Pat is nearing the completion of many freelance projects, but till then I have been told it is my responsibility to keep up the rockland-ave posting.
Last night we went to Jacky's Galaxie for our coworker/friend's goodbye party. She and her husband are moving to California. They are selling all their stuff and hopping in a mini van to drive cross-country. I am very jealous of the selling everything and driving cross-country part.
We have lots of stuff and it would be fun to get rid of it all and get to buy new stuff, but that is just the evil consumer in me.
And I have been totally dying to drive cross-country. I would love to just take my time and see all there is to see. Unfortunately I don't know when that will ever happen for Pat and I. Pretty hard to coordinate that much time out of work for both of us at the same time.
Tonight Pat and I are going to see the "World Famous" Lipizzaner Stallions with some family. I have heard that the show is great, so should be very interesting. After that we are going to try to meet up with some college friends at Boston Billiards.
Tomorrow we are going to head over to the friend's house who is moving because she is having a huge yard sale. Everything must go! If you need stuff let me know and I will give you her Providence address. The sale is today and tomorrow from 9-2.
