Posted by Patrick on Tuesday, October 21, 2003I consider myself a pretty happy guy, with a pretty good job. At my job, I sit in a cube, and do the nerdish things I do. Twice a week a woman from another office comes in and sits in the cube the borders mine. She is angry that she has to travel, and I think she's angry at life. How angry? Instead of breathing, like you and I, she sighs.
Make a phone call? "Sigh...hello?"
Someone asks her a question "Sigh... yes?"
Click the mouse "Sigh...click"
And yes, many people have jobs they just don't like. I know, I was once in one. But if I sighed, it was maybe once or twice during the day, and that was after I left work. I would not subject my co-workers to frequent sighs.
Maybe she has chronic Sighnosis.
