Posted by Patrick on Saturday, November 22, 2003Friday night I caught the Pawn show. Pawn is a four piece, made up of my former FSC compatriots, Mark, Giancarlo, Berman and Eric.

This club, Jarod's, is not very photogenic, as I've never been able to get a good shot there. It's underground, literally. There's a parking lot, with a phone-booth size door that says "Main Entrance" on it, and that's it. It doesn't appear to be attached to any building. The first time I went, I thought it was a joke, but if you get brave and open the door, you'll find a bar down a long set of stairs.
The band put on another quality show. I know, it's tough for me to be objective, as they're my bud's... but I don't think I'd repeatedly pay $7 bucks to see them over and over again if I didn't like them. I hope when they're on Behind the Music someday, that they mention the fans who played StarCraft in the dorms with them back in the day.
