A recent conversation
Posted by Patrick on Wednesday, May 05, 2004So over the weekend, Kate and I helped my sister move from one apartment to another. Her new place is pretty cool looking.
Anyhow, we met in Douglas at my parent's place. My mom had come into posession of some Crest White Strips, which are thin plastic things that you wrap around your teeth, and they use bleach to whiten up your teeth:
My sister was good enough to demonstrate putting them on for us. So, she puts on the bottom set first, wrapping the strip over the teeth. Then she puts on the top strip. Now she sounds like she has a mouth full of plastic strips, and I ask:
"So, what does it taste like?"
And she responds "Um, you're not suppose to taste the bleach."
Which sounds funnier in person than on screen here. You just have to imagine her saying this witht he strip things her mouth. Another fine example of me opening mouth and inserting foot.
