Howdy. Watched some Spongebob Squarepants this morning. I don't think I'd ever sat through an entire episode before. It was genuinely funny, as cartoons should be. It felt 50% less corporate than most of the other cartoons out there... like it wasn't selling a toy of some kind. Kind of felt like Inspector Gadget use to... there wasn't a toy to go along with it. And please don't get me started on how crappy the new Transformers series is. Sure, it was never riviting television in the 1980's, but please, don't insult the children with weird faux-Japanimation seizure cartoons.

On a seperate note, patrickdoran.com is about to fall into the internet void. Time for a change! I'm looking for a new domain name to use. Kate and I had an intense discussion about this the other night. I need a name that's good, doesn't include the words "pixel" or "ninja" or "pimp", and some how conveys that I'm a high-quality designer. Please send your suggestions to me.

Kate's mom is stopping up for some Stained glass action today.
