Safari Cereal Revisited
Posted by Patrick on Saturday, September 13, 2003Anyone checking out Wednesday's post will notice a very ugly scene. You'll see a picture of the Marshmallow Safari Cereal, with a huge logo of a certain Amish lookin' Quaker fellow. Then you'll read my quote:
"Quaker makes it, but it's hard to find any reference to them on the packaging. I think they may be ashamed of their baggedness."
And you'll probably had lost all faith in me. Questions were raised here at Rockland-ave.com. Does Patrick have the cognitive capacity to handle making homepage posts? Well, let me explain.
The photo posted on wednesday was found on the "Internet," and often, this internet is out of date, and I was just happy to find a photo of my still-favorite cereal online. I hastily posted it on the site without even looking at it.
My information comes from the bag I purchased at Stop N Shop. Please look closely at these photos I took below. Hopefully your faith will be restored in my posting skills.
As you can see, there is now no Quaker logo on the bag. I don't know the full story, but maybe Quaker just thinks they're too cool for my crunchy, tasty cereal. I learned a valuble lesson here, and promise to pay closer attention in the future.
Whatever.
