Posted by Patrick on Wednesday, September 17, 2003So, I'm having a kind of geeky night. Just finished playing Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. Recently this has been my game of choice. I was disheartened to discover that a certain feline has chewed through my controller cord enough to prevent the "up" button from working. "Up," like down, left and right, is critical. I found it impossible to play and now need to purchase a new controller. Perhaps a wireless controller to deter kittens from disturbing my gameplay.
Since that didn't work out, I'm now watching Enterprise, which is the latest of the Star Trek series to grace UPN. It's better than Deep Space 9, much better than Voyager, and almost as good as "next generation." Slightly more gritty stories than previous series. They say "crap" and "bastard*" at least once an episode. Good stuff!
*true geeks will remember that Captain Kirk did call all Klingons "bastards" for killing his son during Star Trek III
