A Day in the Life
Posted by Zoe on Tuesday, January 16, 2007Woke up late and meowed to alert Kate it was time to free me. Had some breakfast and waited to get access to the rest of the house.
When she finally came for me I was ready at the door and zoomed right out. Had to wait for her at the top of the stairs to make sure she was coming with me. I headed straight for the fridge and looked back and forth from her to the fridge to her. Luckily she got the message and pulled out my cat grass. I had a little snack, spilled a little water for my homeboys and was ready to start the day.
Raced around and got the black one all riled up. Pounced on him and called it victory. Checked on the bird situation. Lots of them out there. Just gotta peep my head up so slow they can't see me. Those birds are gonna be toast.
Time for a nap. Better hide under the couch to make sure I don't get scooped back to the room or get jumped by the fluffy one.
Man, what time is it? Bird time.
This time I will call to them. "Here little birdies. Don't you want some seed?" What is going on? She is taking my photo! So not cool. She is totally going to blow my cover. Forget it. I am napping, who wants those silly birds anyway?
This time I am taking the couch. Hmm, she's having lunch. Maybe if I ramp up the cuteness she will share with me. "Look at me snuggle on my back. Aren't I cute? Purr purr. Don't ignore me, I said purr! That's right. Ooh, behind the ears."
What she's taking my photo again? Well I am the best ever, just can't help it.
Now I gotta supervise while she works on that soft stuff. If I don't keep an I eye on her who knows what she'll do. Well maybe I'll just close one eye. zzzzzzz
